No idea but this is what the Porsche used cars manager told me. I would assume they are part of the buy back program but didn't make it to the first auction, perhaps because paperwork wasn't all ready but this is my story.

Talking about the 991 GT3s not selling? People are still buying the older 997.2 and I bet a lot of folks are waiting for the RS to show up since it's been so long. Might as well wait a little longer especially if dealers are going to charge a premium on a car that a purchaser didn't config themselves.

I'm definitely watching all this very closely. I cant decide whether it will be good or bad for the value of 2015 models. With my order locked, its time to sit back and just see how things look in a couple months. RS vs. 2015 GT3 vs. 997.2 GT3 RS....
