I have all of them, much more comfortable than my fully caged Rustang and my current fully caged RSA... Now it will drive itself, so no brainer. Must add cup holders this time..

Yeah, haha if you can weed through the dogs and bastardized comments to find anything of substance there anymore...

5 seconds is significant. When you are already achieving these terrific numbers, each second shaved becomes exponentially harder, so I would not use the word only when describing the time saved at the Ring.

In that case, the GTR is very very significantly faster than the RS.

Yeah, I miss not having cup holders in my RS. Definitely not making that same mistake again.

i'm guessing that $180 to start with another $40-50k in exclusive options. Should be an instant collectible though. This will probably be one of the last NA ICE Porsches. Hybrids and turbos with smaller engines are taking over..

theres not a 60k difference between canadian and US dollar.

usually about $10-11k more for every 100,000 $US

but 180k canadian would make more sense. given the improvement in performance.

on the time of 7:20, hasnt the new z06 done better than that already?

If the rumoured RS base price in the US is $180K, I can see the Canadian base price at pretty close to $200K. Add a few options and you can easily be at $220K+ Canadian...JMO

I doubt it's quite that much. The base price in Canada of the GT3 was $148k so that would be a little over $50k more. I'm thinking $30k. If they go $50k more I guess they still sell, but presumably the depreciation won't be as slow as they were for the 997 RS'.
