However both build were under 150K and I traded my 14 back in without losing any money relative to the MY 15.
The trade-in is another thing that really determines the price paid. I pre-traded a mint and loaded 997.2 Turbo w/PCCB's and a 6-speed. Not an easy combo to find considering the Turbo manuals are gone. They made a good buck selling that on consignment for me. No risk for them. So whatever I saved on MSRP came from my trade.
$2,300 off MSRP. This is my 6th 911 in 12 years and I usually load mine up with options, so the dealer has a lot of margin. My list was over $160k, so they probably made more off of me with the $2k discount than they would with a buyer at a $145k MSRP. Plus, they know I'll be back in 2-3 years.
Exactly my belief as well my build was 182,000.00 cdn. Made more money in options hence the discount. I also got a new front air dam thrown in as well. No lift kit
