Default Engine swap effects all the 14 GT3s?

Dealerships here are still delivering 2014 models. Just wondering if the engine issue applies to all the MY14 GT3s, including those had engine replaced in factory?

Every 2014 had its engine replaced, either at the factory or at one of the ports.

Yes, this is true.

Where did Canadian cars have the swap done? I know some foreign countries had swaps done at the dealership level.

Local dealer in California said they had the engines swapped at the dealership.

So if a car had a 6/14 production date it was produced with the old engine and then swapped even though the engine issue was resolved before June? I am probably missing something. Only asking bc I am looking at one with a 6/14 production date.

Possible the production date is the swap date? It should come with a certificate of authenticity regarding the swap and that should give you all the info you need. All 2014's had a swap.

Ok, thanks. Seems you just took delivery of yours and it is 14. When was your car produced and where was the engine replaced?

For the one I buy, I remember the allocation was in Dec. 2013, and it's delivered in Sep. 2014.
PS. I haven't got the car yet, because the boss of the dealership wants to drive it first and sell to me as a demo with 1000 kilometres. But I don't really care, because that way I was able to sell my TTS in relatively high price and also I am not able to find a 15 allocation

I am not sure, but mine had the swap in Germany factory because the production was not complete when the fire issues came out

Same here. Did you get any compensation?

No I didn't, because the guy ordered it didn't want the car, then I bought it. How about you?

No I didn't. Was my car from the start but no compensation for UK cars that were still at the factory and had engines swapped out there.

All 14s had a swap. Mine was at the factory with a production date of 7/14. I have the engine certificate.

You buying your car at Porsche Oakville? If so, my friend ordered your car, nice spec!
