There's been a lot of PM traffic and posts about an informal gathering of a few of us this Wednesday in Atlanta. I think we've decided to do it, so we are thinking Perimeter area or Buckhead. Lodi, Haku, Kencollinsjr and a couple others are most likely in. Just an informal / causal dinner and a few drinks.

This does not replace the larger spring GTG we are going to do.

I work in that area so once we have a general idea of attendees, we can find a good place to go.

Anyone else? Let' use this thread to finalize the logistics. I'll bring my GT silver GT3 along so we can take a couple rides. I'll bring extra microfiber for the drool.

Should be fun if we can pull it off!!

Thanks again Sean. I hope you're going to charge therapist rates... thats what the meet will be for some of us!

I'll bring a Canon 5D or Fuji XPro1 for some pics. That way I can continue the drooling when I get home!

I have a lowly 997 GT3 but (1) I'm right in Buckhead and (2) planning to upgrade to a 997.2 RS or 991 GT3 in a year or so. I might tag along if you'll have me.

I lived in Buckhead from 1994 to 2000 and were the best single years of my life

Some of my friends go to brunch at the Cheetah several times a month... with their girlfriends!

In the mid-90s there was a place called the "Gold Club" that was pretty fun. I think they busted a bunch of Pro-basketball players in there once that was all over the news

The Gold Club is still there, sort of. It's now the Gold Room and just a regular club.

Alluvia is a tough one to get through an expense report, or so I've heard.

I was 24 years old when the Company I was with moved me down there. It was crazy in the mid-90s. Buckhead had hundreds of bars and clubs. It was like 3 girls to every male back then. The City was on fire back then. Had the Olympics in 1996, a Superbowl I think a couple years later and the Braves were hot with Glavine/Maddox/Smoltzy .Left there in 2000.

I heard Buckhead cooled down quite a bit
