^ Interesting video. The last one I saw they were saying it was more of a "GT" type of car.
I will say this - At the Chicago Auto show in Feb my favorite 2 cars was the Ford GT and the Mercedes AMG GT S. They had the Mercedes in a Metallic charcoal grey and I must admit it looks really good in person. Very upscale but yet sporty looking. My Wife actually loved it and asked if I would get rid of my Match box car (GT3) and get the Mercedes. Aint going to happen!!!!!

I watched some European reviews before and they seemed to all agree its a hard core sports car. More so than the 911, but maybe not like a GT3...
As the next EVO test will show, more of a TT competitor, its a TT after all, just no AWD, so more like a GT2 or more like a next years' 911 C2TT?!

meh. ive seen it on street and at show and its nice looking but nothing that special. as to driving, my guess is its a german muscle car like all amgs are. german z06 or better yet viper.
and i did hear him say its 'like a race car' but i would focus more on his comment that 'transmission little slow to downshift'. thats kiss of death to me for an automatic car and a problem with all amgs including black series ones

OT a little, but have you driven the GLA45? Going to test drive one today as a small, but somewhat practical 4-door to add to the garage. Primary duty will be school runs etc, but seems hard to not get the AMG version for the extra $20k...
