Congratulations! As with most GT3's, beautiful!
More pictures always appreciated.... Especially of the silver stitcing interior. I presume you went for full leather.
Concerning the mirror reverse, it does not mooves when i put the back gear. But it shoud be possible i believe. Here are some rapid shots as i know when we wait for our car we appreciate it
I don't believe the car is programmed to have the tilting mirror in reverse. That said, since it is literally just a coding module, I would assume that it is "possible."
smookey, have you noticed anything different on your MY15 relative to what you've seen or heard so far regarding MY14s?
some areas to check:
- mirror tilt (which you've answered)
- changes to interior
- changes to GT2 seats
- bluetooth/phone functionality
- any new PCM software features
- changes to anything that comes with the car (manual, keys, documentation)
i am guessing the answer is no to all of the above, but i'm eating up every pic at this point.
Il Will try to answer with my words And not having the opportunity to live with a 2014 One.
- Interior i chose alcantara option which is superb. I don't think there is diference with 2014.
- seats are equal with ex gt2 And rs i owned. Carbon rear, extremely easy to live with especially with a track day car like that, you can do 4/5/600 kms in And be comfy And on the track, you are extremely well maintened. I Love them.
- Bluetooth works perfectly, imports automatically iPhone repertory, musicien etc
- Pcm And chrono, the track App connect once you are on the track you select, you have to enter your Vin number create a profil And it Will be côtroled with your iPhone And Pcm. I Will test it october 13th, i Will do videos And will givre my impressions.
-i ordered white key.... Detail but as nice as the car!
So, if you enter your vin, doesn't this help porsche see exactly how many track days you are doing and therefore whether you are following the more aggressive maintenance spec per the warranty rules?
But it's still based on track mileage not amount of appearances to the track. I don't understand why the app would need your vin? Seems like you would want to follow the track maintenance schedule anyway.
It needs your Vin to create a W-lan connection between iphone and the car. In every case the bord computer manage your necessity to go to maintenance. And i don't know how it works in the US but here in germany Porsche is happy of you track your Gt3 And don't discuss if warranty is necessary, excepted accidents of course.
BTW: Does anyone know if the app is available for Android yet? I only saw the iOS download links but the documentation also talks about an Android version.
