It's an epidemy. Makes me wonder along with Porsche 918 recall. Are manufactures overlooking the quality controls for the sake of productivity.....

Maybe but at least they seem to act quicker when they find a problem (in most cases). I also think as cars are becoming more complex and digital influence they are harder to test for safety/problems that might occur. I can't imagine all the cars problems from days past and all the problems they knew about that they didn't address because they figured it would be cheaper to wait and see. I think we are seeing the manufacturers respond because of the Toyota accelerator recall and Chevy cobalt situations and they are seeing the media beatings and negative public perceptions.
