Struggling with decisions. Gt3, RS and Z06
Currently own a 997.2 Gt3 and a 2012 track prepped Miata. I have a 991 Gt3 on order slated for December build, a deposit on a 991 RS and a slot for a c7z at msrp.
Either way I'm keeping the Miata. Pound for pound a bucket of fun and silly cheap.
I don't want to sell the 997 until I like whatever car comes next. I'm not keeping all the cars. I'm thinking order a Z. If I like it, sell the 997. Keep the Z until the 991 comes in and choose between them. Then sell it when the RS happens.
What would you do? Discuss.

I would only purchase a Vette as a stripper, I've found the build quality to be very disappointing. Atleast you solve all this buy gutting it...but I still went with a Cayman myself.

I'm in the same boat as you but no miata. I have a 997.2RS, getting a 991 GT3, and have a deposit on a 991RS and a confirmed slot for the Z06.
I will get all the cars and see what I like best. The Z06 is the only question. The heaviness, front engine, plastic look inside and out, and quality just don't get me excited. We'll see.

Based on what you have I wouldn't get the Z or the GT3. If you like the current RS wait for the new RS and you don't have the cost or headache of disposing of stop gap cars.

Why? More HP and less weight no good?

With the utmost respect that is not a good reason to choose a z over a rs, there are few cars that invoke the definition of a fun/fast track car like the rs......despite how good the Z06 is reported to be. I have always found the previous generation corvettes to be very numb on the track. I have tried many times to give the newest generation corvette a chance and its been fail again and again but I have not tried the newest gen yet.
