On the wing and mirror. I am trying to get details, I want the entire side mirrors and the wing tips. My car is Gaurds Red- anyone have pictures of this on the 991 GT3? I have seen I think a silver with orange but can't find the picture. Opinions wanted on wheel color too. I think now that black wheels would look best...

I considered these for my yellow GT3 but decided against it due to cost and the ease of wrapping for the same job w/o paint. I think the wing in black was $1295.

 

Very difficult to wrap mirrors or wings with the curves. But, I agree that the wing blade is a little "off", the wing tips in black on the other hand would look better.

 

Nice contrast. Black LED headlights too or too much.

No, this is a CXX option. So you need to work with Porsche Exclusive. IIRC, you were denied PTS like me, so you already have been talking (or your dealer has) to Porsche Exclusive- I think it makes it easier. Melissa at Exclusive has been assisting me.

 

very interesting... Rennlist adds value again. I thought no PTS meant no exclusive, period. So if I reach out to Melissa directly she can help me? Is there a list of all the exclusive options anywhere? Thanks for the heads up.

I think many of you are not reading the full post. My preference is for deviated black on the wing TIPS and full black on the mirror, NOT on the wing blade. So just like your RS avatar with Red and Black.

So like this, but in red and black with full black on the mirrors (sorry for the postage stamp size!):

The question is do you like it with that deviated color scheme?

If you do, go for it.

Who cares what the we (ie, the board) thinks.

Your car.

Drive what makes you happy.

 

If I had made up my mind, I wouldn't ask... I just want to make sure people are weighing in the correct color scheme, I too don't think the black wing blade looks good, the wing tips and mirrors though might work...

 

Personally I would keep it stock.

Deviated color doesn't look right on a GT3, unless it's an RS.

But that's just me though.
