I understand completely so I bought an IWC.
Uhh. Still trying to decide. For a GT3, it can certainly fulfill my Senna dreams but in NY here I am not sure I can fully drive it all weather all the time. The pros is I can get one delivered in Jan. Not long wait. For a TT, more money and wait longer possibly. Perfect 4 wheel all weather car. Very tempting. Very practical. Great sport car. But 25K more than GT3.
Finally, Mr. Macan Turbo. All around practical car. Won't lose much in $. 92K can get you most of the toys. Not a sport car but give you speed. I don't track or spin around in the neighborhood.

Why don't you guys who are in a conundrum as whether you should be buying a GT3 or a 991 TT consider a 964 as the fun car alternative.

For $40k you'll find yourselves a decent car either in C2 or C4 guise.
Spent some money on it, say another $40k and for 80k you will have a car that will give you more fun and driving experience than a 991 TT or the GT3 put together and look at how much money you would save.
You can the buy the Macan Turbo and still have some change in your pocket.
Don't get me wrong, I would love a GT3 in any guise, 996,997 and 991, I think they are amazing cars, but from what I've read here, you will find what you are missing with a decent 964!

I am in the market looking for an older Porsche. Every time I see some one in one it just looks like they are having so much fun and the older models; are just timeless and look better with age.
