I just changed one item on my bucket list. Instead of "driving the ring in a Porsche", I edited to "riding Ringtaxi in a Porsche". Much more fun for sure, since I would never be able to get the line right.

driver is so clearly cruising, barely 90% pace, yet the car is mighty. respect.

Very cool! When I do European delivery I am definitely going to look into this. What group did you use?

+1. I never thought about doing this as part of a bucket list EU trip, but it's definitely on the list now.

For a 9-10 minute lap? You probably could do 10-11 minutes driving your car and the cost would be under $100.

Current price is 27 euro ($37) for one lap, 100 euro for 4 ($34/per). Back in '99 with my 996 I paid 20DM which at the time was around $10.

As much fun as it would be to take a lap with an experienced Ring driver, I'm not sure I'd pay $475 for the privilege. As Nick suggests, I think it's more exciting to drive it yourself even if you don't reach the same speeds, and certainly a lot cheaper. Something about doing it yourself that makes it even more special, IMHO. Of course, if you can afford to do both.....
