GT3 test drive

IMHO, is a 997.1 GT3 by looking at the door mirror & tail lights. I'm not even sure if is an original GT3 or just another wannabe because you can retrofit a GT3 body kit to a run of the mill 997. Last but not least he is such an inconsiderate idiotic driver & he thinks he is on the track. Not only he endangers his own life but what about other drivers & pedestrians on the road.
Cheers mate!

Totally correct & I agree with you wholeheartedly. Road condition is dry. Accelerating hard into the corner most probably still on 1st gear as he launched out of the traffic lights (distance from traffic lights to corner very short) - panicked & committed a mid-corner lift off & fumbled- upset the car's balance - oversteer in the process - over corrected - ended up like as if he was doing a "doughnut." Then again I maybe totally wrong. Maybe he was just trying to show off his driving skill & got screwed up along the way. Have a nice day all of you!

Poor video but from what I could tell he began to lose the rear and applied the brakes ( so it seemed to me; can hear the squealing) trying to control the car and by doing so shift the weight to the front wheels causing the back to spin totally around.
A common mistake. We all probably experienced this at one time in our driving careers.

you dont show off your driving skill on public road.
there is a place where you can legally show off whatever you got. its called race track.
I bet, however, this stupid gt3 driver would drive like he drives prius on the track.

It is instructive how many cars ( not just GT3s) that get into this type of accident..on the street, cold tires, loads of power, "let's see what this baby can do", and accelerate on the curve hard......and no idea how to recover.

I had this experience before many many years ago & is still in my mind. Coming out of a junction In a Carrera 3.0 (1976 model) in an icy road condition. Applied too much coming out & the car just fish tailed / one big pendulum effect & thank god I did not hit any cars parked along the road. I did not apply the brakes when it gave way & for all we know it could be worse.
This is one experience I will never forget for the rest of my life & it happened in 1976. Thank you.
