Anyone choosing a later allocation to avoid the present uncertainty?

I have an end of Q1 build which still hasn't locked and I expect it will get pushed back further. I also have a Q4 spot with my local dealer which would be a model year 2015.
I have considered falling back to take the second year of production, but I have already waited a long *** time for this car. Any thoughts?

I spoke with my Dealer on my GT3 today that is in production. They are one month ahead of planned production. My car is at CP 7.8 "Vehicle exit production". This was on 2/14/2014. This means the chase and the motor have not come together yet. It has not moved into CP 8.0 (Vehicle completion).
It appears with at least my car, they have not moved it forward and likely won't until the knows problem.
Let's see. I will ask for another update in a week or so.

We don't know for certain what the problem with the GT3 is.
This makes it difficult to gauge how much risk there is in taking delivery sooner than later. I have an August build, so I've got a bit of time to analyze the situation as facts come to light. If I had a March/April build I confess I would be a bit more nervous.

458's are a least a year depending on your politics. Plenty of like new used ones though. Mine had a 150 miles on it when I bought it.

The first woman was trouble. Why does anybody believe anything else would be different? ![evilgrin](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/evilgrin.gif)
In all honesty I gather this isn't an engine mechanical issue but more of an ancillary problem. This was what I got from a friend
who is in contact with someone "close" in Germany. It will require a re-design but other than that I think it's safe to say the engines are fine.
Also, the reported fire figure is somewhat higher than "the official" number.

Waiting for the uncertain manual trans.
As far as Ferrari goes - no real point ordering a new 458 rt now, u can most likely find a used one for significant discount.
