Considering, yes. Like I could consider buying a GT1, 959 and CGT all at once. With Keira Knightley and her imaginary sisters in each car.

PAG will have a lot to answer for should the manual RS turn slower laptimes than the PDK -3. There are also inherent issues with how the PDK is integrated into engine management electronics. So much happens with the pull of a paddle in the new car that an MT will--I speculate--require the rework of the ECU suite. And the additional hydraulics associated with a manual clutch? That's a whole host of components not present in the GT3 design.

My two-bit speculation is PAG would do the R&D on how to fit a six-speed into the 991RS, and they'd only monetize that in a limited run edition at some point in the future. I see a christmas card from PAG to all of us 991 RS buyers at some point, not unlike the one below:
