Well we're finally getting some rain here in NorCal today so maybe the timing was pretty good although I guess yesterday was a pretty good day for driving.

True, but I was just getting used to seeing it parked in my garage whenever I went out there and now I'm having separation anxiety....

That said, I initially thought these may go better with the standard wheels as the wheels are much darker in person than pics indicate. However, with the black wheels the lights seem to absorb some of the dark tone and match very well. Again, pics are hard to tell. I still think the black PDLS will look amazing. I would love to see the above silver car with a silver crest on the hood.
Silver Porsche crest on hood ... Hmm ... will consider. Thx.

They had two white C2's sitting next to each other and the one with the black headlight was something. Tint the windows, black PDLS and the semi dark wheels will be cool.

Hi, Mike.
I had an appointment today to bring my car in for the thermostat recall - part was ordered, came in last week, my car was checked today and the result was that the existing part passed whatever tests they were instructed to do. If it failed, the part was on-hand for the swap, but ultimately was not needed. Yours may be the same. Will be interested to hear how it goes.

MarcusG, is that blacked out or standard PDLS? Can't tell as the bright sunlight could be causing the black to appear a bit grayish.

Hi Jeff, there was an issue with getting the part to my dealer; long story but a series of snafus with delivery delayed the installation until today. The car had shown no symptoms of over-heating and the impression I got over the phone with my SA was that while the original thermostat checked out ok, they replaced it as a precaution. I'm going to validate that when I pick up the car tomorrow. Anyway, it's done....

It's just the standard Bi-Xenon option PDLS. They are completely black inside the headlamp housing. It just appears gray because the sun is so bright.

This isn't what I expected you to say. As far as I know, the standard Bi-Xenon with PDLS (option 603) is gray inside. The Bi-Xenon in Black with PDLS (option XEX) is... black inside.
