I do believe it was Mahogany, and although very deep and dark all the details of the GT3 stands out so beautifully - I would now choose that color without any hesitation.
The metallic red was also really nice on the GT3, it was Porsche Exclusive's own demo car. From a distance it looks a bit like the silk lacquer on a bicycle, up close like normal metallic paint. It has a tiny orange tint but mostly to the red side.
Also a good color and could be on a top 5 list for elegant colors on a GT3.
But personally red is for Fiat's, so would choose Mahogany.
My own agate was completely covered in plastic, so didn't get to see it in full, but hope it is better than Mahogany.
