It was mostly because when I just started out, I was lucky to have a really good instructor explain this to me very well. Drive a few laps, evaluate run offs, visibility and typical speed in corners and think what's going to happen if you lose it or someone spins in front of you. Then it becomes clear which corners you can drive 10/10, and which should be done at 7/10 or anything in between. It does not have to be all at 10/10 or all at 7/10. If blasting 150+ is not safe given conditions and/or your skill level, lift early - no one is going to blame you for being safe.
Absolutely true! Great advice.

That being said, I will track my car when I get it. Probably a few times a year.

Congratulations!

We need lots of interior and exterior photos of your GT3 to make its arrival official!

Road use only for me. It'll never see the track. Where I live, there are plenty of great roads.

I plan on the GT3 being 95% street car. My husband goes on the track a lot with POC. I will only track it for PDS event so that way he can instruct me and when he instructs I can then do a ride along in the cup car . I am a tiny little thing and I don't think I can drive the cup car, but we can add a passenger seat and then I can ride in it.

Which do you think will be harder for you (physically) in the Cup:

1 - pressing the brake pedal

2 - downshifting the sequential

Well, it was designed and built as a street car.
I guess that's where I'll use it. Most of the time.

Track two times a year, limited street use the rest of the time unless I trade
my 09 C2S, then I will daily drive in nice weather.

Haha probably everything. I'm only 5'1 105lbs. I probably can't reach and I may not be strong/rough enough on the sequential. I'm told you have to be really violent with it for it to work beautifully for you.

Once I get mine, it will be a weekend fun car. Primarily street but perhaps occasional track.
