Is that really the price? I just looked at a few detailers with that product and looked like 300??
A good cquartz detail with all the fixings should cost btw 700 and 1200 depending on exactly who you use and what other things you have them do to the car/ how old the car is/paint condition. Because this is a new car, there will be less corrective work that will need to be done than say a car a few years old, so that should save some hours...
Im probably going to have oakes detail do it but Im going to either make them do it at the dealership or find someone else who will. Im not letting this car go to any garage that isn't my dealership until I get there.
Wow – that is a lot more expensive than Opticoat isn’t it? What are the advantages to cquartz?
I dont know the specifics compared to Opticoat, but put shortly, you could apply the cquartz on a car and run it through a car wash for 2 years and still have it look as good as the day it left the dealership. It's seriously incredible stuff.
So do people use cquartz/opticoat and then clear bra over it in front? or clear bra and then cquartz/opticoat the areas not covered by clear bra?
do the treatment to the car with no bra on first. Then, you can actually apply the cquartz/opticoat after the bra is on over where the bra covers. That would be the "ideal" way...though expensive for sure.

No disrespect intended, but why put anything underneath the clear bra? I know with some clear bras in the past, the installer didn't even want wax there. If it was there any wax it was removed as part of prep. Do you think the depth is richened by doing this; seriously, just asking. I can certainly see coating over the top of the clear bra as this would ease the removal of any road debris. Clear bras should be waxed anyway.
I have never been a fan of any liquid applications other than a high quality wax, but you have my interest.
