I went and bought an interim car, a 2012 Cayman R. It just happens to have a nice set of the GT2 Sport Bucket Seats. I think I've seen a couple of other forum members here planning to transplant a set of these into their new GT3.

Any thoughts on how the GT2 Seats would look in my 991 GT3 when it finally gets here? Will the color of the leather match? The alcantara color and texture? What about the stitching, will it match the silver stitch in the new GT3?

I think they are the basically the same seat that can currently be ordered for ROW 991 GT3's so they should look fine. I'd bet the color match with the leather and alcantera will be the same although from the pics I saw on the C&D web site I'm not sure the stitching will exactly match. Getting the thorax airbags to work with the different connectors in the US 991 GT3 may be problematic.
