Regarding clear taillights.. I generally agree they are rice, and on a red car especially make no sense.
However, visualize a car where you don't want any red, such as a dark pccb equipped car. Picture a slate grey, black headlight, yellow caliper pccb GT3, White taillights would fit well IMO

they make a big difference on my MB car, where the red tends to clash with the blue.
