and saw sapphire on a boxster. Thought it looked great. Crappy iphone pic:



And it's official, clear lenses = rice. Friends don't let friends spec clear tails on their GT3.

Regarding clear taillights.. I generally agree they are rice, and on a red car especially make no sense.

However, visualize a car where you don't want any red, such as a dark pccb equipped car. Picture a slate grey, black headlight, yellow caliper pccb GT3, White taillights would fit well IMO

I agree, clear tails aren't for every color, but on the right one, they look great. Also, they look much better in person than in pix.

they make a big difference on my MB car, where the red tends to clash with the blue.

Agree, don't like the clears on most colors, especially red. On some darker colors it doesn't look too bad.

I would rather have clear on red, so that the contrast is obvious when the brake is applied.

I like clear on white but didn't order them because the reflector is still red sooo.....

I find this all funny since my 2006 Cayman S had half clear and the upgrade was to go to all red tail lights. I guess now we pay extra to go back to clear.
