Strange, the sales guys there have been fine with me. I was on good terms with Bruce who now is the manager at the maserati dealer, and currently with Beau.

Sucks to hear.

But agreed on the service dept. They had no issue bolting on a bunch of cup car parts on my 997 GT3 after I took delivery. Some dealerships get wonky when it comes to mods, even if a porsche part.

I *think* only 2 allocations for this first round of allocations, but am not sure. I'm #2.

Danny is the tech. I hope they pay him a lot!

What about the 996 Cup car you were talking about yesterday?

Danny and the guys in back are excellent. At Beasley, I've been told I'm #3 for an RS, passed on #2 for the GT3. Sales has been good to me there, hope that stays the case.

Yes, that too. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to try it on track soon. If I love it, my decision will be made, otherwise the search will continue.

Since they got at most 4 GT3s, 3 RS models sounds like a real long shot. You should have a backup plan.

I'm figuring the GT3 to RS ratio will be 2:1 at best.

I have never been so mad in my life. I set a goal to refer $1M in business away from them. So far I am at $450k....helping people living in Austin to buy from other dealerships. (Panamera Turbo S loaded, Cayenne, 911S and Boxster loaded). It’s a hobby for me
i remember you mentioning this story to me in pm in past. sounds like they are owned by my buddy, see avatar

my buddy below has lost way more than $1MM in the last year. probably close to $2MM and counting.

if anyone wants used car from my bud in my avatar, DONT. you be fking sorry and i will not answer any of your questions. i 'll watch you drown....

back to topic.
if you find a large dealer i think you will get GT3, not first one in line, but you will have it.

lots speculators. i have seen this too many times.
a lot of ppl have multiple allocations.
a lot of ppl will not be able to cough up money when due.
a lot of spots will suddenly become available with .... well, "if you pay me $5k under the table, you can have my car...." i know b/c i have been solicited when i was looking for RS4.0, RS3.6 etc.

Also interesting in my calls is that the list for the RS is about the same as the GT3, many GT3 buyers are in line for the RS. That maybe due to bucket seats and snowball in hell manual transmission.
