My guess is that the 991RS will be to the new GT3 what the 997.1 RS was to its counterpart (and *not* as the 7.2 RS was to its), i.e. no power increase, some weight reduction (the TT/S CF roof panel for sure) and maybe some suspension & transmission (ratio) tweaks ... and probably the TT/S bodyshell.

pure speculation of course ... but I just dont buy into the "now we can make the RS more hardcore" ... I think that's wishful thinking ... but I'd be glad to be proved wrong!

Although if they were able and willing to wring another +15bhp out of it (as has occurred in the past) I would not complain

Lighter, wider, more power.
So if you can live with PDK-S that's the one to get.

what if its just wider - with more aero?

is there a dual mass flywheel between the PDK-S and the engine, can they fit a LWFW for the RS?

anyone know what the weight diff is between the S and TT bodies

I wonder if the RS can match their record 89 ft-lbs per liter? GT3 is currently only 85...

If it's all that and not a LOT more expensive, I'll put Porsche on my s**t list. I still can't understand why they upstage the introduction of the GT3 with speculation about a "better" car right around the corner.

Just lighter would be good, wider makes it cool, more power don't need it, but if its going to be more than 115K more it better have some more power also
