Just curious if it was a dealer in Atlanta, thanks. I hate when they offer that junk. I know Hennessy has all allocations sold and a double digit unfulfilled list. Ellis is asking $20k over MSRP; crazy. who's buying those???

Congrats!

Been lurking on here forever. GT3 is only a few weeks out. Debating on whether to do this on my 991 GT3, as it will be in white. Any new updates on some newer films?
Anyone in the Houston area know of a reputable installer?

Yes, XPEL ULTIMATE. Had this product on my 2012 GTS and it worked excellent. Covered the bumper, lights, mirrors, hood, rockers, behind all wheels. This film won't yellow like the old stuff did.

Interesting, thanks. I guess Xpel has a shop in Houston as well. Anyone local used this location before? Feedback?

Speaking of Xpel installers.

Any comments or reviews on Auto Paint Guard (Tampa, FL) or Auto Super Shield (Boca Raton, FL)?

Any other top notch installers closer to Melbourne, FL / Brevard County?

So I'm trying to figure out the right places to wrap on this.

Full Front bumper
Full front hood
Headlights
Side mirrors
Rear Bumper

The front bumper looks like it goes high enough up, halfway past the headlight that i didn't know whether the front fenders should be wrapped.

Are you guys also wrapping the rocker panels on the bottom? That ends up being a big piece as it flows over the rear arch

Full fenders, full hood, entire frt. fascia, A-Pillars, first 8-10" of roof, mirrors, rockers which flow into rear 1/4 as you stated (replacing Porsche's piece), behind all four wheels. I have not done rear bumper but many like to.

Shouldn't i just do the whole car then? just really missing doors and rear bumper

which is maybe $750 more..

some do.

I'll likely do what I mentioned above, while skipping the doors, rear bumper, majority of roof. Also only part of the 1/4 will be covered. Oh yeah , I will cover the lights.

The doors have a lot of tight tolerances. So does the frt bumper, but I want to minimize that.

They quoted me 8k for the whole car - not worth it IMO.
WOW...makes my clear bra guy seem pennies to the dollar for same job compare to yours.

@sunnyr -- I'm in SoCal and my installer is priced spot on with Premier. $2800 for full front end, including mirrors, lights, and windshield.

The cost is all about the quality of the prep and the quality of the installer. The film is what it is.

Did I just read $8k to wrap whole car with xpel?.. That's risible.

Why don't people just actually wrap their car a cool color like flat grey or whatever else strikes their fancy?
