I think the better question is which, if any, of the features will be incorporated into the non GT cars in the future.

Based one what can be gleaned from interviews and videos, I think the shifting in the GT3 is considered by PAG too hard/fast/unrefined for Carrera customers.
good to know. BUt i think the shift lever action s/b the same across ALL models.

The video interview of AP by Evo led me to believe that AP disliked the 'backwards' implementation of the PDK lever, citing that the GT3 now corrects this wrong. Maybe at the 991 refresh?

Now that they finally have admitted it, if they don't change it, that would just make no sense.... true?

Maybe the stupid buttons and *** backwards operation was so they have something to upgrade for the GT3?

Is the top button to unlock the shifter? Or passenger ejection seat

This was my wheel before I changed it out for a paddle wheel. Note the redundant toggles on each side; press either one forward to upshift, pull the backside of either for downshift. Some people actually like them but I found that on track, working the wheel in quick transitions, I sometimes shifted accidentally. Plus they work differently than normal left downshift, right upshift paddles.

I'm dumbfounded. If this is an attempt at a bona fide discussion this is failing on so many levels. NEITHER box has been released to the public and not even the journos have driven either car. There goes the factual perspective. Then of course you checked the logic box by answering your own question??

I knew PDK s was better than PDK. I was just unsure if the tt had the regular pdk or the pdk s. That is why I was asking because I would never buy a pdk car from porsche, but am going with pdk s now that manual is gone.

Just to be clear, when one pulls back on both paddles on standard 991 S PDK the car will shift to neutral. So don't see why AP is lauding this as a unique feature of GT3 box.
