My wife used to hate football, but she's been to enough games with me now that she understands and enjoys it. We're not talking about issues of principle and morality here, just how somebody feels about a piece of evolving technology. IMO, it would be pretty boring if we were all neutral on everything just for fear of having to backtrack later.
