On this forum I come across multiple pictures of GT3-non RS with a GT3 RS bonnet/hood with the 2 air scoops.
I am just wondering, do these air scoops have a function on these non-RS cars or just for the looks.
And if just for looks, are the blocked off?

 

The NACA Ducts are for brake cooling on the .2 GT3RS / 992 and 911 GT2 RS. All other cars I believe it's just for looks unless people add the duct work as well.

Yes, I knew that the NACA duct on RS cars were for brake cooling.
I was just wondereing about what people were dooing with them on the non-RS cars.
I guess in case of just for the looks, blocking them, to prevent possitive air pressure onder the hood.
