Illuminated Door Sill 991.2 GTS

Anyone else have the carbon fiber luminated door sill stop working? Mine just did with only 5K miles since new. Quoted $1,300 from local shop to replace.

Yes mine stopped working on my car too, just too lazy to get it replaced.

Mine was replaced under CPO. Took over a month to arrive and according to my SA, it's special order from Germany.

Very odd these things go out so quick.
