Description For Sale, Wheels & Tires package includes:
New set of Forgeline GS1-R, Satin Black, for Centerlock, originally spec for my 991 GT3RS with PFC 380mm brake kit. Will fit 991 GT2RS and GT3RS with 380mm brake kit. The GS1-R model wheel is the lightweight and very strong wheel used on factory-built IMSA race cars. Fronts 18x10 ET40 (Qty 2) Note: Requires 380mm brake kit to clear 18" front wheels. Rears 19x12 ET46 (Qty 2)
New set of Yokohama ADVAN A005 (A60 GT3 Cup Challenge compound) Fronts 280/650-18 (Qty 2) Rears 330/710-19 (Qty 2)
The wheel and tires were purchased in Oct 2023. They have been stored in my basement with no exposure to sunlight. I only took them out to take photos for this ad. I am selling them because I got too busy last Fall to do track days. And this year, I am even more busy, and have different priorities. If I can sneak in a few track days in my RS this year I would be driving to/from the track on street tires. Letting this wheels and tires package go at an amazing price and hope to find a track enthusiast to take full advantage for the grip, and the deal!
Price is $5900. Best offer will be considered. This is pennies on the dollar! Local pick up is preferred. I will personally deliver up to 100 miles from Baltimore, Maryland. Can ship but shipping cost for wheels and tires is pricey.
Friday bump and a note- I realize the 10x18" front wheels limit the market for this wheels & tires package, as most RS cars don't have 380mm front brakes to clear 18"s. Otherwise this package would have sold very quickly at this price. I would be glad to help any interested party to put together a brake package. Just let me know. Thanks for reading.
Question: 280/650 & 330/710 combo makes the F/R tire diameter ratio to be about 8.4 %, while the stock 265/35/20 & 325/30/21 is 4.8%. This significantly lowers the front end therefore rack is changed quite a bit. I have test fitted Hankook 250/650 & 320/710 in 19" on my stock height RS, it lowered the front end so much I scrapped everywhere. Do you think adjusting ride height is mandatory with this set up?

Good question! Yes, to optimize performance for any tire height change the rake should be adjusted. I chose the Yokohama 650/710 tire height because this is the spec tire height(and tire brand) for 991 Cup cars in IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge and Porsche Sprint Challenge USA, which we have done many setups for with great success. Compared to the OEM RS street car tire height of 694/729, the overall delta is 44/19. Divide the overall delta by 2 because only half of the overall tire height is below the axle centerline to affect the car's right height. The final number after divided by 2 is 22/9.5. Which means without making any ride height changes to the car, the ride height becomes 22mm lower in the front / 9.5mm lower in the rear compared to OEM street tire height. A great feature on the GT3/RS, same as on Cup cars, is that the ride height can be adjusted easily to optimize for different tire height packages. The calculation I made for my .1 RS which has stock ride height of 115/275, with this 650/710 tire height package on the car, my adjusted target ride height is 100/255. This rake is the same as a stock .2 RS and the ride height is only 10mm front and rear lower than a stock .2 RS(stock ride height for .2 RS is 110/265). This is A LOT better than just putting these tires on and be 22mm lower in the front(too low) and have grossly wrong rake. For a little bit more ground clearance and even closer to Cup car rake the target ride height can be 105/255. I know this is a bit of math. Hope this info is helpful. This was my carefully thought out plan, until I had other priorities took over in my life. Let me know if I can assist further on this wheel and tire package.

Thinking back on the question, my original answer may have been TMI. The cliff notes answer to the question is for wheels & tires with a height of 650/710mm (Hankook or Yokohama) for rake:
For a .1RS raise the front by 5mm and drop the rear 10mm(to achieve the target ride height of 100/255mm).
For a .2RS raise the front by 10mm, don't need to change the rear(to achieve the target ride height of 100/255mm).
This is assuming the current ride height is at factory published numbers. There will be a small margin for deviation between actual height vs published height.

Monday bump. Must sell. Any offers will be considered. Selling because between work, home repairs, and online college courses, I have no spare time to do track days.
At the asking the price the new wheels are discounted and the new tires are essentially free. If you don't like my choice of tire sizes, below are track tire sizes that fit the wheels and the car. Plenty of street tires to fit too.
Questions welcomed.
