Has anyone put a .2 4.0L DGG motor in a 991.1 gt3? Are the wiring harness and connections all the same?

would I just need an ECU and the motor to do the swap?

. I think my .1 is going to crap the bed. I’m getting low oil pressure indications at hot idle. Exploring my options and evaluating If I need main bearings, a full rebuild or just get a used 4.0 from a .2.

if repairs are 15k or more I’ll just upgrade to the 4.0. I figure it may help resale value as well

Are you outside of the 10 year warranty?

Rebuilt title.

For the GT3 RS the word on the street is you swap the engine and ECU, and the rest is plug and play. Would be interesting to know what to do on the GT3.
