...someone upped the ante by $100,000 (from $150,000 to $250,000) in one bid. Wow. The last few minutes of this auction will be fun to watch. Do I hear $300,000? Going once, going twice....

I know, right?! I've got 27,000 miles on mine because I am doing what was intended for the car (and for any car, for that matter), driving it and enjoying the brilliant experience it offers on the road, day after day.

Beauty! I'd personally love to own a driver touring(I'm in the market and looking for one). My comment was just a generalization of "top dollar" sales is when collectors come out to bid and play. They generally want a sub 5k mile car they can park in their 5+ other car collection and will pay for it. They stop bidding on cars after they cross a certain mile threshold. Doesn't mean a 15k mile touring is "worthless" just means it won't be bringing that same huge premium a 4k mile one would.

Yes I get it. Although I do believe the ones that command high prices are the PTS not necessarily the low mileage only. But I don't think there has been a high mileage PTS that has sold recently in order to establish a marker. I have quite a few cars but it doesn't matter because I still gravitate to the touring, it's just perfection IMO.

Probably with a hefty premium over prior private party asking price. #usnoozeulose

Time to take it over to CarMax and see if they will straight trade for a Toyota minivan hopefully with lower miles.

Just saw on the Porsche Austin IG page that they have a 991.2 GT Silver touring for sale. Happy to look at it for anyone interested.
