Default GT2RS WP missing CF swaybars

Went to see a GT2RS for sale. It has the Weissach pkg but when inspecting on the lift, the front and rear sway bars and end links are the steel version.

Carfax is clean, the car appears in good shape otherwise and is being CPO'd. What could be the reason?

Update: Also found the car has GT3 control arms with rubber bushings, not the 2RS/3RS arms with rose joints. I would stay away from this car.

The dealer is promising to replace all the incorrect parts back to original to make it right since it will be sold as CPO. We'll see how that go.

Since you are from Houston, I'm very curious to hear which dealer has it. Only one listed on Autotrader in Houston, so I assume that is the one. It would be interesting to hear the backstory on this car as well.

That's scary - was that disclosed or did you have to inspect the car to find all of this out? Could there be other things "wrong" and why would you replace GT2 parts with GT3 parts?

The car is unlisted so it's not the one you see on Autotrader. Carfax listed multiple previous owners but is clean of accidents/repairs, and the dealer got the car from another dealer who got the car through auction, so they don't have history either.

I was inspecting the car on the lift and noticed the difference. The pre-own car manager was surprised as well. Besides the missing CF swaybars, all the suspension arms were the GT3 parts with rubber bushings. They don't look new or recently replaced. The body, exterior, & under carriage look fine with no signs of repair. The car does have 18 way sofas so one possible scenario could be the original owners replaced them to create his own "Comfort spec" GT2RS?
