Default De-winging in the US

Looking for a solution to daily-drive a GT3 but need to tame down the appearance. With the thin supply of Tourings, I'm contemplating de-winging a 991.2. Has it been done in the US? If so, who?
Thanks

Maybe try to find out what modifications were done to this car (991.2 PDK turned into a PDK Touring):

2019 Porsche 911 GT3 in Lincolnwood, IL | Chicago Porsche 911 | Porsche Lincolnwood

I have seen people use the Carrera Sport Design Duckbill decklid like Mr JWW on YouTube

just need a different engine cover since it removes the intake vents

A conversion in the UK uses the Touring intake system, so need to price that in. Dundon can probably assist

good catch wrt the intake system ... that wont "mate" with a sport design ducktail... it would have to be touring decklid and intake $$$$

I looked into this and it’s prohibitively expensive, think it was £14,000 for the conversion and £4000 for loom and ECU🥹

I grew to love the wing instead!

Something to also think about, the airbox on the Touring is slightly different than the winged GT3 as a result of no scoops and the resulting ram-air effect those scoops have on the winged version. Therefore you would want to change the airbox too if you're looking to not see a power loss at certain speeds...

not only that but I believe that like the "winged" car, the airbox forms a seal with the underside of the decklid, hence the touring decklid probably also needs the touring airbox or a compatible aftermarket solution...

A company could make a killing coming up with a solution that has the same intakes and minimal parts for a conversion.

They could make several options such as intakes only, duck bill, etc.

A wingless kit for the 991.1 GT3 was available from a California company for a short time.
Porsche made them stop making and selling them.
