I am preparing the parts and researching the work that needs to be performed for my 991.1 GT3 after 6K and 12K miles on the track. I plan on doing the work myself, doesn't look too difficult, but the parts can be expensive so I am buying them as I find them on sale. I am unclear as to how many track miles specifically my car has so as with anything else I want a baseline of service I can trust. I may put together a video when I do this work.
It is interesting to me that the rear hubs/bearing are replaced at twice the rate of the front hubs/bearings in this car. I have some ideas as to why this might be, but does anyone know from Porsche definitively why this is?

They’re the driven wheels and carry the most weight/load due the tire size and weight balance.

Follow up question: Hs anyone on the board done this service on their own? Any special tools needed? I will be following the service manual but would appreciate any tips or advice. Also if you know anyone with new hubs for sale I am interested. I have all other parts for this service.
