Smile Yet another DME question - 991.2 gt3rs

Ok, let's see if I've learned how to read these things. There's a 991.2 gt3rs I got a dme report for. It has 524 total operating hours and has been driven 15,500 miles. So an average of 29.58 mph.

Level 1 ignitions 44
Level 2 ignitions 9
Level 3 ignitions 1
Level 4-6 ignitions 0

Level 1 13,446 minutes. Meaning that it occurred at the 224th operating hour of its' life.
Level 2 and 3 happened at 5022 minutes. Or during the 83rd operating hour.

So level 3 is just a blip (level 2 as well), but since they happened 441 hours ago and there have been no problems since, they are therefore nothing to be concerned about?

A clean dme in other words.

Did I pass the test?

Anything below Range 4 is very safe, so no need to worry about it as long as everything else looks good!

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but PDK cars have little to worry about from a DME report perspective.

The manuals are the big risk and why DME’s are important.

You are correct. And the RS did not come with a manual at all.

Never hurts to check everything?

Thanks, I figured that the DME itself looked good. And yes I know that with a pdk it would be difficult to get into the higher levels. Just wanted to be sure - never hurts to check.

Difficult to get into higher levels?? The whole purpose of the DME report is to double check to ensure the car has not endured a "money" shift. Which is physically impossible with the PDK. Not sure why it was even requested... No offense in you doing your due diligence but there's no purposes in even asking for one with the PDK...

Well, they offered it to me, along with the cpo report (which I haven't seen yet). So why not. The post was basically really meant to see if I was reading it correctly.
