Default LWB vs sofa in Speedster

Can anyone with personal knowledge (not just guessing) comment on the relative percent of Speedsters with LWB vs sofa seats?

Speedsters would be the closest comparison to the Spyder RS.

A clear majority of GT4RS are ordered with LWB, same thing for GT3RS.

But both the Speedster and the Spyder RS are not track focused like the other cars made by the GT department.

I would think there would be a much higher percentage of sofas among Speedster owners, but I don’t want to guess, so decided to post the question here.

There are 588 Speedsters in the United States, and of those about 145 have the 18-way sofa seats (option P07).

Would you also know this ratio for the GT3 and GT3 RS?

And would GT4 and Spyder (Non-RS) also be worth taking a look at? Just to put things into perspective for this 991 Speedster question.

Don't have any info for the GT3 or or GT4/Spyder, but here is data re the 991 GT3RSs, i.e., # of cars that have the sofas (again, US cars only):

991.1 GT3RS -- 139 of 1248
991.2 GT3RS -- 154 of 1462

Thank you. That is very helpful.
So 25% of the 991 Speedsters were ordered with sofas compared to 10% of the 991.1 and .2 GT3RS.

That comparative ratio was exactly what I was hoping to learn.

Cheers

By chance you’re looking at Speedsters, with the open top getting in and out very easy. I love the feel of LWBS and long drives up to 3 hours to the GA mountains NP. Good luck.

Great point -- having an open top does make it easier to get in and out (with the buckets). Love the buckets in my Speedster. Only thing missing is the option of heated seats, which would be fun/great on some (colder weather) open-top drives . . . .

For the 991 GT2RS, 109 (of 1094) in the US have the sofas . . . .

Yeah no heat can be tough …this day I pulled the car out in the winter in GA it was 37 degrees out for a drive with friends. Turn heat on high and wear gloves.

How does seating choice affect aftermarket prices you reckon? Not that I will sell my Spyder RS, but looking to purchase a 991 Speedster.

LWB’s will get a higher return in resale as it’s the preferred seat/a broader buyer market.

Completely agree with this, my little guy approves of the LWB as well.

Fyi, if you have buckets, it's not that big of a modification to add heating elements inside the seat inserts. I did that in my GT3 and it's fantastic, especially for driving windows down in the east coast fall

That is genius! May I ask how you had the button made to enable/disable? And do you have 3 levels of heating like factory?
