Wink Why are all .1 RS 2016 and all .2 2019?

Hi all,

New member here, but a long time reader. Looking to get into my first 991 GT3 RS in the coming weeks. While looking for them, I noticed all .1 RS are listed as 2016 and all .2 are 2019. Why is that? didn't they make 2017 and 2018 models?
Also, was lizard green not an option for .1 cars?

Many thanks, and welcome me

they make 3 RS only every few years so 991.1 RS was 2016
991.2 RS was 2019
992.1 RS is 2024

In the past they have only run the Rs for one model year usually after the GT3 production run and right before the next facelift or new generation. Im not sure if they continued this with the 992 it seems like they are producing both GT3 and Rs variants right now.
