Is having corrosion on the red springs a concern? Same question on the nut that connects the flex brake line to the chassis connection. Does CPO cover this?
I’m guessing if left untreated, corroded springs will keep getting worse to the point of failure.

no the sort of response I would expect ... of course metal corrodes and fails ... however certainly never heard of such spring failure reported on RL ... on a GT3 or any other P-car in the time I have been active here.
I should not have wasted my time responding... (unsubscribed)
YMMV.

Back to topic….
Metal springs that are under tension on a mcpearson front end could be a problem. Genuine question and its also a broader car question. Maybe not in 911 but in other cars, someone may have experience.
