Ok, but we are talking about the serpentine belt, not timing chain. So that belt is turning the alternator, coolant pump and AC compressor. Unless you miss the dash lights up like a xmas tree, yeah, you cand overheat and burn the head gasket. But that is far away from a new engine. Am I missing something?

Thank you all, sincerely. Found a local shop that specializes in Porsche. He indicated a lot of the same things you were all saying. Cost was basically half and everything felt genuinely good about the guy. Really appreciate it!
