Default PADM failure

I, too, suffered the PADM failure (2015 991.1 Targa 4s with 16K miles). Based upon multiple inputs- including a Porsche dealer service manager- one will not notice the impact of this system in everyday street driving or absent hitting the 10/10th of the car's performance on the track. Thus, I'm torn between spending $1,400 for the part (FCP Europe and Pelican now guarantee the part for life) to keep it original or going with Rennline solid mounts. The dealer claimed he didn't know how to code out the alert. Anyone have insight here?
