Asking current owners or previous owners of .1 GT3 cars. Did you install backup camera? And what did you install? Likes and dislikes of any type installed would help also.

No. I've thought about it, but proper wiring and cutting a proper hole into the rear bumper argue against it. If I were to install one, I would install an OEM camera, harness, and wiring, as aftermarket ones. . . well, look aftermarket.

I used the crux adapter with a generic backup camera. Works great, and also has an input for a front camera

I had one installed on my .1. It works like OEM, comes on when in R and goes off when in P or D.

Its a Naviks module with an alpine HDR camera. Wire is routed through the car into the PCM. No drilling of the bumper required. The cable is routed through the tow hook hole in the bumper behind the license plate and the camera is installed with 3M adhesive in the location where OEM would typically be attached.

Works great, no issues. Well worth the cost of install (1k$) and I cannot imagine not having one if you drive the car a lot (nearing 30k miles now)
