Default Carbon Fiber Roll Bar

Not that I'm asking to buy one, but I noticed that the 992 RS Weissach pkg (maybe it was Clubsport, I can't remember) in the Euro market (or likely RoW) gets a standard CF Roll/Harness bar, which is removed from the US Spec'd cars.

Not trying to debate what's stronger or lighter here between Steel, chromoly, OEM 991 Clubsport Titanium, or the 992 CF.

Just morbid curiosity if there are any 991 CF options out there that I'm missing (991 Roll bars are prob discussed in new threads only second to exhausts/side deletes).

Feel free to chime in if you do think it's stronger or weaker if you want, I just didn't want to make this a this persons aftermarket is better than that one because I've got better welds or make it like the Cup car.

Anyone make CF ones for the 991?

Chances the 992 bar fits the 991 chassis?
(doubtful in my mind).

Sorry if a dumb post. I was just curious.

So the questions then become...

Is there any possible way to get an OEM one?
(Would likely be a long time if there is one)

Will other aftermarket companies get a hold of one to scan and replicate?

And, will it fit a 991?

if not, can it be made to with brackets?

That's awesome. IIRC, the OEM Ti one doesn't plug & play fit through correct? No mounting points in the US body/chassis? Compared to aftermarket ones made to fit our chassis.

What is the weight of the Ti one?

Is the CF one you're getting the OEM 992 one? Or are you making a 991 aftermarket version?

I have a euro Porsche Ti bar in my car. You need the Manthey adapter plates for a US spec car. It’s a pretty straight forward install, with the exception of trimming the side panels…that takes some figuring/planning.

If you open our post, there is all information regarding weight, mounting and even recut carpet kit.

We have only what Porsche made, not aftermarket

We had a chance to compare on the table Porsche Original 991 Titanium and 992 Steel / Carbon Roll bars. Mounting points looks the same, so we are 99% sure (not 100% as no one installed 992 rollbar in 991 to confirm it), that it will fit no problem.

Would be cool to see Original Porsche ST carbon roll bar in 991
