Default Infrequent front right metallic clunk - during low speed front-end torsion

New to me 2015 GT3, stock.
No vibrations or noises over 20 mph+, only low speed, surfaces which would create large front end torsion creates a not quite repeatable but rather loud metallic thunk.

I figured it was surely a loose sway bar end link due to the torsion scenario, but after making sure every bolt on the right side suspension I could find is tight, nothing seemed loose after giving it some muscle. Everything under the subframe under tray was tight, shock tower nuts tight, shock tower hat center nut tight, sway bar bushing housing tight. Visually inspecting all joints, bushings, etc everything looks great, nothing torn or leaky. CL is locked. The 'ol 9-3, 12-6 wheel rocking showed no play, although the steering angle did not lock upon turning the wheels with the key not in ignition? I didn't expect that.

Any other high probability items to check which are stressed under front end torsion? Like hidden bracing bars?

Thanks!
Andrew

I think I’ve experienced something similar. It happens very rarely - at this point I’ve just chalked it up to yet another one of those mechanical noises this car likes to make. Have gotten this car track inspected/prepped and the car has a perfect bill of health.

On rare occasions I get a clank also. It's always at the same place and nowhere else. Going only about 10 to 15 mph. Someone with a 992 GT3 had a similar problem that turned out to have something to do with the strut. I don't know how different the 992 is from the 991 though.

Maybe it's something like spring bind?

I get it sometime too. Spring bind/upper mount is my best guess after driving myself nuts looking for it.

Same here, also front right. Happens very rarely, but more often when the car is cold and making tight turns in parking lots.

Spring binding sounds like a reasonable guess because I'm driving too slow and go over a tiny bump in the road when it happens. Maybe a 1" bump.
