One of my winter projects is to track down what I believe to be a rattle originating from the drivers side stock cat. I am not running the stock mufflers and have checked all the mounting points for fit and do not see any heat shielding that is loose (vibrating). Have not found any reports of the stock cats letting go. Am I on the right path? For new catted headers choices are OEM, IPE and Dundon? Thanks.

I had a cat go on my 991.1 Carrera. It broke up and mostly blew out the tail pipe. There was a chunk blocking one of the muffler valves.
