Default Bilt Racing Billet Aluminum PDK Deep Sump Pan Filter

Anyone already had installed the Bilt Racing Billet Aluminum PDK Deep Sump Pan Filter?, it does add 0.5 quarts oil volume and cooling from the finned aluminium sump improve transmission and fluid life for both street and track use.

For the moment I haven't had a problem with my PDK, but will changes the fluid in the next months.
Thank.

Is this compatible with GT3's? They don't list any GT3 models on the website. PDK-S may be different physically than regular PDK.

I did email LN Engineering and they did confirm Billet PDK Sump #117-10 works in 991 GT3.

The main purpose of these pans is to replace the plastic ones without a serviceable filter found on 981/991.1 PDKs. For race duty, the PDK fluid needs to be changed relatively frequently (like every 2-3 events). Since the plastic pans do not have a serviceable filter, you have to replace the entire pan each time. On a 981, you can also fit the 718 metal pan for about 1/2 the cost - not sure about 991.2s.

NO overheat or failure at this moment on my car. But wanted to know if anyone had experience with this Billet aluminum PDK deep sump.
I will be replacing the PDK fluid in the next few months and though to upgrade the PDK pan.

It has a drain plug. You don't need to change the filter THAT often.

100%, a extra half litre isn’t going to make that big of a difference in a 7litre system. And yes you can buy replacement filters for the Euro al brand pan which In itself cheaper than the plastic pan.
