Porsche 991.2 GT3 RS Gets BBi Autosport StreetCup Roll Bar at GMP Performance



Our premier dealer, GMP Performance, recently installed a BBi Autosport StreetCup Roll Bar and Schroth Racing harnesses into their client's Racing Yellow Porsche 991.2 GT3 RS. The combination of these products makes for a great upgrade in both safety and aesthetics.

The BBi Autosport StreetCup Roll Bar is designed to provide a factory-level fit and finish, and it is made from high-grade steel powder-coated for a long-lasting finish. Additionally, the bar includes a complete hardware kit for easy installation. The Schroth Racing harnesses provide the perfect complement to the roll bar. These harnesses are designed to keep the driver securely in place during hard cornering, acceleration, and braking. They feature a lightweight construction yet are strong enough to withstand extreme forces. A quick-release buckle makes it easy to get in and out of the harness, while belt guides keep the straps in the correct position.

Once the roll bar and harnesses were installed, the Racing Yellow Porsche was ready to hit the track. These products provided the driver with improved safety, comfort, and performance. With the secure fit of the harnesses, the driver could confidently push the car to its limits.

• 1.75” x 0.095”, 1.5” x 0.083” high-strength seamless tubing utilized for excellent strength-to-weight ratio
• TIG welded and utilized “X” braces on front and rear sections for superior strength and rigidity
• Mounts to frame structure (utilizing factory bolts) to provide the strongest mounting points and maximum protection

BBi Porsche 991 GT3/ GT3RS / Cayman GT4 Sub-Strap Mount



This bracket is required to install 6-point race harnesses when equipped with optional Sport Bucket seats. This bracket bolts directly to the seat and keeps the harnesses at the proper 10-20° angle regardless of the seat position.

BBi Harness Install Kit



BBi Harness Install Kit included extended bolts to adequately accommodate the OEM seat belts and racing harnesses at the factory mounting locations on the 991 GT3 / 981 GT4 Sport Bucket Seats. This kit features metal sleeves fitted around the bolts so the belt brackets can pivot freely on the bolt. They are sold as a kit per seat.
