.1 GT3 RS vs .2 GT3

The GT3 is still a lot closer to an RS than it is to a Carrera or a Turbo. Most people wouldn't call it comfy, and it certainly isn't quiet to sit in. Both are decidedly track focused with an element of usability on normal roads but the RS is wilder and less compromising to drive out of the box.

.1 GT3 non-RS is best of both worlds. Just sayin. Raw on the inside, elegant on the outside.

I went from a Turbo S to a GT3T. It was the right move.

Imo 1.1rs is the most forgiving ride of the entire 991 GT lineup except R. I know that is counter intuitive but it was definitely softer ride than 1.1-3 and even a hair less stiff than 1.2-3 and especially 1.2-3rs.

ask me how I know, went from a 991.1 TT to a spyder 718 to a GT3 touring for my daily driver and although in absolutely love the touring, nothing beats the Turbo in and out for all day all weather competence speed and fun, a different kind of fun but one that grows on you over time.
as far as RS vs GT3... well drove the RS (it's a .2) for a bit this weekend and yes I agree it's an event. I may reverse my recommendation and say go with 991.1RS even with older engine; the overall RS experience is unique

LOL. When I read your original post, I thought you were going for a logical practical answer. Logic and practicality for your needs would be the .2 GT3. Passion would be the .1 RS. And passion will trump anything illogical or impractical. Go for the RS, my passionate friend.

Dang, amazing! Enjoy. Know a guy running PFC kit on his .1 RS for track, says absolutely outstanding. Clear upgrade from stock/OE+ setups.
