Had both cars , it is not 100 HP difference , 25 hp is about right and a little torquier in the mid range
991.1 RS is one of my favorite cars .I liked it better than .2 RS

How does this car compare with 991.2 GT3, available at about same price on today's market?

Congrats on the RS - I too am a fan of the F430/GT3RS combination. Completely different cars of course but I feel the F430 really has two sides (friendly cruiser vs raucous sportscar) while the RS really is always a surgical weapon and wants to be driven accordingly. Almost ten years between them, makes a difference.

Terrific line up

I did have a hard time sleeping last night after seeing the 992 RS unveiling yesterday. Good news , I’m about 500k short on purchase and my name will never get called .

I just told my friend that I was going to walk in the garage tonight and say “ honey you may be missing a tooth, a little overweight but you will do “!

LOL know what you mean. While I would love to trade up to 992 RS just to own the latest and greatest, I also feel that car is engineered for someone with loads more track prowess than I possess. That was arguably true for the 991.1 RS as well but at least that car can also be driven on the street without looking too out of place. New RS is WILD! Gotta love the one you're with!
