Default Paddle Shifter Upgrade?

I just upgraded my 991.1 GT3 steering wheel to a custom 991.2 wheel.

LOVE the look but honestly hate the way the paddles feel compared to the GT3 ones.

It's missing the "clanky" feel vs the "soft" wheel on the 991.2 (see video for reference of the clanky side)

Any idea if I can get the same feel with upgraded paddles?

I recall the 991.2 wheel was a nice upgrade over the stock wheel in a 2015 GTS I had, but I've stayed with the OEM wheel in my .1 GT3 because like you I prefer the feel of the paddles as well as its overall diameter. AFAIK the paddle assemblies are not interchangeable.

I had the opposite opinion. Once I swapped to a .2 wheel it felt more positive and more of a “click”. The stock paddles/wheel felt spongy in comparison

If you want a nice mechanical click feel. Just get the KMP wheel that we have
