Default .1 GT3 RS Topping off

Hello all,

I'm wondering if some of you might delight me. Per the Owner's Manual, oil consumption is normal. For those of you that don't drive yours exclusively on the track;
- How much and often are you topping off?
- Has consumption increased or decreased over time?
- Was it only consuming up until/around the 2k mile break-in? Is it possible to run a report to see the necessary metrics to determine if proper break-in was followed?

If you're not experiencing oil consumption, I'm interested as well.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Have not experienced any oil consumption in ~7000 miles of ownership. No indication on dash. I am not accurately measuring the oil removed at change.

11k miles under my ownership and no oil consumption. oil change every 3-4k miles, 0W40 Mobil 1. Have driven her on long road trips up the coast (12+ hours) and no change in oil level.

Thanks for the replies. The consensus thus far is no oil consumption. Surely, someone's 991.1/RS is 'using' oil unless Porsche was just covering their bases in the case many would've experienced it. Also, haven't heard from anyone yet on whether the break-in could be quantified in some way. I have doubts that it is possible and may ask a service rep however, with all the talk of DME reports on manual gearboxes, I'd think break-in would be just as, if not more important. Is it really possible to damage the engine with 'over-revving'? Does Porsche really not have a safeguard in that respect?
